After translating the latest Non no segment, I'm considering to do the rest that haven't been done so far. Well, for starters, this is the first issue for this particular segment that paired Ohno and Sho together. The theme was given by Jun who thinks that the 2 eldest member; who were still living with their parents at the time, are perhaps not suited to live on their own. So what did these two have to say about this?

O: Really, that's so true... (earnestly)
S: In my case; first of all; I think I'm gonna have lots of troubles with house chores. I'm bad with cooking, doing laundry and cleaning. ... or perhaps I should say that I've never done them as daily routine. Ah, but Satoshi-kun did have such experience ne?
O: Because I have lived on my own in Kyoto for about 2 years while I was a Jr.
S: To have done it for 2 years is magnificent enough!
O: Yeah, that's why I thought I had enough of it already XD. I haven't discovered much meaning to living alone ne. Living with parents is more comfortable, and one can spend time together with family.
S: Yes yes. I haven't found a single disadvantage. If this is how it goes, let's start a "Living with Parents Campaign"! Something like forcibly carry out the idea of "Right now, Living with Parents is Heartfelt!"
O: Ooh~ that might be good.
S: ...... (making a serious expression) Well, although I've said this far, actually I'm considering, "perhaps it's time for me to live on my own...?"
O: Wha~t?! XD Well, if you get to realize it, what kind of place would you like to live in?
S: (bitter smile) Thinking of such things are so bothersome, right~ Just trying to imagine the furniture arrangements makes me feel troubled to no end. Instead of stylish looking indirect lighting; I will end up thinking to leave the regular florescent lamp as it is. To the point I wished someone would just hand over the once-lived-in rooms to me (with the furniture still in place) XD.
O: I too don't have any particular preference, I guess. (pointing to his own drawing of room plan) It's perfect if there's a single room like this. Something like an old-fashioned apartment's Japanese-style room the size of four-and-a-half tatami mats (7.4 sqft). Wouldn't it be interesting if it has the feel of 'barely making it'?
S: Aa... that matches you... though I'm not really sure if it's fine to say that xD. (searching for words) Well see, it has artsy feels!
O: Thanks (grins). As for the location, I do think it will be nice for it to be close to the sea; but if that was the case I might end up doing nothing but fishing.
S: Please focus on your job too~! When it comes down to it, I wonder who is the one among Arashi members to be 'skilled at living'? Aiba-chan... perhaps won't keep his place clean (grins broadly). The one who has a trendy lifestyle might be Matsujun.
O: The one who is good at doing house chores is Nino, don't you think so too?
S: It does feel like that ne. I can imagine him putting on apron, hanging his laundries xD. Which reminds me, the chances to go to members' houses are unexpectedly low ne. If I get to live on my own, I want to hold home party at mine every weekend.
O: That would be nice. If the 5 of us gathered at Sho-chan's home, I wonder how it goes?
S: Me, Nino and Aiba might be playing games, just like we do in the dressing room. Then, if Matsujun make us pasta that he's good at cooking using the fish Satoshi-kun caught and brought over; that would be the best!
O: I shall do my best to make it come true XD.
They also drew the plan of their ideal rooms.
Satoshi's Ideal Room

S: How simple... XD. But Satoshi-kun's current room looks something like this too ne.
O: Yup. As long as there's table, I can eat and do my drawings ne.
S: Then how about when you want to sleep?
O: ...... well, even for that, perhaps under the table. Or if it suits you; it's fine to sleep on it too. XD
Sho's Ideal Room

O: Just as I thought, acoustic is the key ne.
S: Yeah, it's the most important. If I could be extravagant, it would be nice if the environment allows for high volume of sounds.

S: Exactly just like what Matsujun's had pointed out incisively; I don't think the two of us are suited to live on our own. Right, Satoshi-kun?
O: Really, that's so true... (earnestly)

Satoshi's Ideal Room

O: Hmm... this would be enough.
S: How simple... XD. But Satoshi-kun's current room looks something like this too ne.
O: Yup. As long as there's table, I can eat and do my drawings ne.

Sho's Ideal Room

S: (Starts by drawing turntable and speakers; followed by television and bed) Okay, I'm done... (taking a quick look at Ohno's drawing) Ah, I also need table and sofa!
O: Just as I thought, acoustic is the key ne.
S: Yeah, it's the most important. If I could be extravagant, it would be nice if the environment allows for high volume of sounds.

Date: 2013-09-22 05:30 am (UTC)Boys were safe while living with their parents, that comfort feeling that no one else can give you, i feel them.
Look at all the Satoshi-kun in this conversation.. plus the tiny Sho-chan with the big information i would love to hear sometime out of anyones mouth.. home party in Sho's house <3
You said so.. i'll be looking forward to more Non no :P Ganba desu!!!
Thank you very much darling *hugs*

Date: 2013-09-22 07:10 am (UTC)*nods* They do have a very distinct ways of doing things; it always made me feel at awe how 2 such different people could get along so well.
I'm still living with my parent; I guess being a daughter it's probably not a huge deal. I do think it's kinda interesting that they stayed with their parents for as long as they did. Sorta adorable, dont u think so too?
To be honest I was sort of surprised at the 'Sho-chan' here; I'm not sure if I had noticed or made a huge deal over it back then (ws still a very casual yama-shipper at the time) but I'd probably have thought that it ws a typo if not for how often he's been calling Sho-chan nowadays.
Home Party every weekend, so he said. Right. xD How many years has it been? I doubt he had even a single one. I think it's perhaps his OCD factor that's causing him to reconsider having such plans. Reminds me of when Ohno suggested the 5 of them having BBQ; which Sho rejected immediately xD

Date: 2013-09-23 01:16 am (UTC)Ohno and his 'minimum requirements'. And Sho almost forgot that he'll also need those; too focused on 'acoustic needs' xD.
*hugs* Thank you for reading and leaving yr thoughts here; it's a pleasure to share the love of yama <3

Date: 2013-09-23 03:15 am (UTC)I'm kinda surprised to see how simple Ohno's ideal room is :| but, well, he is Ohno Satoshi. He only needs table for his hobby <33 He doesn't even need bed XDDD
And LOL at Sho who suddenly added table and sofa after take a look at Ohno's drawing XD But then, isn't Sho's (new design) ideal room has the furniture that Ohno wants in his ideal room? There will be no problem then if the two live together <33 *coughs*
Thank you for sharing~<3

Date: 2013-09-23 05:03 am (UTC)I think Ohno's current place isn't much different than the what he had envisioned here; I mean in terms of it being simple and minimalistic.
--There will be no problem then if the two live together--
*hi5s* I have the same idea too the whole time I was reading this!

Date: 2013-09-25 03:44 am (UTC)While Sho-chan didn't seem to think he would need a table. Ah, these two! It would really be interesting to see how they are at home, ne (though, I'm sure Sho-chan's learned a few house chores by now; he seems to do his laundry mindfully now, but I still doubt he ever cleans XD).
And men and their penchant for super loud sound systems. I can never really get this. XD
And when's that barbecue ever going to happen Sho-chan? I seem to remember a convo in hna where Ohno proposed the idea of the five of them having a barbecue party and Sho-chan refused because he thought it would be troublesome? LOL!
This guy really is a walking contradiction. XDDD
Otsukare! //hugs <3<3<3
