2013 FEBRUARY: MAGAZINE (MISS) - "MANIA"

Also thank you so much to those who are spreading yama love and sent us ideas and suggestions; we really do appreciate your thoughtfulness.
Without anymore delay; here's the compilation of yamapair-related 'discoveries' that can be found in this year's February issue of MISS. The main theme this time is 'Mania', and basically it's about Arashi's biggest fan: Arashi members themselves.
In the group talk, first half of the discussion was focused on their solo songs in the latest album, Popcorn. So basically they will touch on one member and give their thoughts about the said member's solo. In most part of the talk, Ohno hardly said anything much that the other members had to prompt him into responding; which often lead to rather half-assed reactions.
Even when his own solo was mentioned:
S: Ohno-san's solo "two", certainly has that feel of "OHNO-SAN", ne.
N: The sort of feel that he's letting (the audience) listen to him singing the song; and watch him dance as well, ne.
O: ..... (No reaction)
S: Ohno-san! XD Just now for a single moment, you were totally switched off; I was a bit shocked. xD
O: Eh, (was I) switched off? xD
But when they got to the last member; which was Sho...
O: During rehearsal, I watched Sho-chan's solo (rehearsal) at the audience seat while on-standby; the moving stage is really excellent ne.
M: Moving stage?
O: Both the (performance) direction and Sho-chan, I mean xD. During the actual concert it was covered by the set so I couldn't see, but while listening to the sound I would wonder, "Maybe right now (Sho) is around this area..."
N: As expected from Leader. Sho-chan, were you aware of this? Did you feel the passionate gaze?
S: I did during the first time, but forgot the second time XD.
O: Yeah, he forgot! Even though I was watching him intensely.
S: That's because I was rehearsing XD.

松本： （笑）。あとは翔ちゃんの「Fly on Friday」。M: Haha. Next is Sho-chan's "Fly on Friday".
大野： ライブのリハーサル中、俺はスタンバイしながら翔ちゃんのソロを客席で見てるんだけど、ムービングステージとかすごくいいんだよね。
松本： ムービングステージ？
大野： 演出も翔ちゃんも、両方だよ（笑）。本番ではセットに隠れちゃうので見えないから、音を聞きながら「今はこのあたりかな」って考えてる。
二宮： さすがリーダー。翔ちゃん、知ってた？熱い視線感じてた？
櫻井： １回目は感じてたけど、２回目は忘れてた（笑）。
大野： そうなんだよ！忘れてるんだよ！！すっごく見てたのに。
櫻井： リハーサルですから（笑）。

In another segment (individual interview) they were asked to state 'mania point' regarding other members, and this was what they say about each other:

休みの日も予定を立てて、時間を決めて動いているらしい（笑）。スゴいよね。僕も結構そういうとこあるんだけど、でも寝るのも大好きだし・・・、翔ちゃんみたいにはできない。完璧なんだよね。

It seems like he will make plans even during days off and move according scheduled times XD. That's amazing, right. Even though I plan (my schedule), I still love sleeping... I don't think I can plan like Sho-chan. He's flawless, ne.

絵などの芸術的な才能。今回のツアーでは振付もしていて、個々の踊りだけじゃなくフォーメーションなど全体の複雑な動きもあるし、とにかく頭の中でイメージする能力が高い人なんでしょうね。

Artistic talents such as painting. He even does the choreography for the concert this time; not only for individual ones, but also the entire complicated movements, like formations and stuffs. Generally speaking, he's a person with excellent imagination ne.

Ohno and Sho were somehow paired in a single photo that was published in the magazine; with the staff's comment in the caption:
本を手に、背中合わせで座ったところから撮影がスタート。
最初はそれぞれが持っている本をパラパラとめくっているだけでしたが、
どちらからともなく話しだし、後半は身ぶり手ぶりでおしゃべりも。
相手の話に、リアルに吹き出したりもしていました。
本当に仲がいいんだなぁと、その場にいたスタッフも思わず和みモード。
何を話していたのか気になりますが、それは内緒みたいです。気になる気になる！

but then one of them started a conversation and and they ended being engrossed in it, complete with (body & hand) gestures.
They even burst out laughing for real at each other's words.
The staffs at the site thought "Ah, they are really close ne..." and even they were caught in the calm mode in spite themselves.
We were curious about the content of their conversation, but seems like it's a private matter.

Well, I'm grateful to have more people spreading yamapair love in different places, it's amazing how there's so many international fans starting to see how interesting this pair really is...

I really wish for Sho-kun to be Ohno's helper in his next art exhibition if there's any... but that's what i'm expecting as Satoshi's next step... i'm dreaming about it and rooting for it with all my might :D

Yeah, I remembered when they were fighting over liking T.A.B.O.O; much to Sho's amusement. that was so adorable.
If Ohno does carry out another exhibition, I'm sure Sho would be one of the most proud of Ohno. I love how Sho kept on being supportive of Ohno's hobbies and interests <3 Yes, like you I also hope that Sho would play a major part in the exhibition.
It's really awesome when staffs made observations like this and even put it on captions... sometimes i wish I am one of the staffs so I could just stare at their interactions with my own eyes. And get paid for it XD

Date: 2013-03-28 03:10 am (UTC)It was so funny that during the whole convo Ohno was unresponsive and mostly gave out one-liners when prompted that even the staffs were desperate to show his 'presence' by inserting his non-verbal response (ie: nodding etc). Then at the mention of Sho's name by J (who is probably thinking he could definitely bait their Leader); Ohno just spits out these random things. I also love that he was totally going all out at Sho; with the latter 'playing hard to get'.
Sho might be watching Ohno, ne?
*hugs* there's already so much in the first trimester coming into this year; it's a good sign of what's to come <3
