So, Fuku Arashi 2012 -where Ohno says "I love Sho-chan's never-changing round eyes"- has inspired me to do a small compilation of "Ohno loves Sho's face" excerpts, all from different years!
[2009 Dec.] Monthly the TV
N: What part of Sho do you like?
O: His face!
N: Why? Why? LOL
O: He's my type (of face). That's why I'll naturally look at him. Our eyes often meet, right?
S: Y-yeah.
[2010.2.13] Daily Sports
S: After ZERO was over, I received a mail from Ohno-kun, saying "You had a great face." Even though (I'm not sure why) he is praising my face... Well, I'm happy about it though.

"The Face Since Long Ago" by Ohno Satoshi
Probably because I went "Sho-kun, this way!" while he's shooting Nino, he lost his focus there and made this face. You know, this face of his, I love it. He's done this kind of face since back then, I'm sure you've seen before, right? Occupying a big ratio of the viewfinder when facing the camera (laughs). I don't think the other three do this... only Sho-kun probably. It's really amusing how he has so many expressions. That day he also made many for me, so all I did was taking his pictures.
Were there any print references in 2012? Hmm, scavenger hunt time!

ニノを撮ってんのに、僕が「翔くん、こっちも！」って声かけたから、ニノの方に集中できなくて、思わずこの顔。翔くんのこの顔がね、僕は好きなんです。昔からこの顔よくしてくるよね。見たことあるでしょ？カメラ向けたらこの顔する率が高いの（笑）ほかの３人に関してはそういうのないかな・・・翔くんぐらいかもしれない。面白いです。いろんな表情を持ってて。この日も翔くんがどんどん表情を出してくれるから、僕はただ撮ってるだけだったな。

Ohno and his never-ending admiration for Sho's face; if this was anyone else, it's an easy excuse for a "You're only into me for superficial reasons..." kind of couple-squabble.
But somehow Ohno made it like "I LOVE YOUR FACE BECAUSE IT'S THE WINDOW TO YOUR HEART & SOUL"; except for the fact that he lacked significantly profound words, but I'm sure he summed up it better through sketches or snaps of photos.
Will we get more of these this year? What's NEXT~~~~?

facessides of Sakurai Sho seen through Ohno Satoshi's years of observation". (even "watermarked" one of them with his "presence" ♥)YOU KNOW, after posting this, I totally forgot one very important neta xD (hint: headdress) but probably it deserves a post of its own.

I rolled like an idiot.. love this two and we had the Yama dance during Arafes~ *keep rolling*
The only moment i remember now from 2012 involving this moments was during the HNA sp, when the five were tasting (playing jaken to take the shots of) bitter drinks, Sho made such a face, Ohno reacted with a.. "First time i see that face" XD

Date: 2013-01-16 09:09 am (UTC)Yes! I was so thankful for the Yama dance in Arafes DVD ♥ I mean, I feel like Yama moments are kinda rare in their concerts, like they don't really do fanservices, but when they do, they're kinda in their own little "world".
Count on Ohno to comment on Sho's bitter face! He seemed so very amused by it (well, weren't we all? xD)

Oh definitely not just the face. I think their respect and admiration for each other is unbeatable. And yes, the SCENT! I keep thinking, "Yeah you two have known each other for over 10 years, but knowing at such close proximity!?" Yes, as Ohno said, they will "date for life" xD

also its so cute that cos ohno called him he stopped taking a pic to look his way instead of continuing to take nino's pics. ahh sho the ever attentive wifey <3
i wish we can see the photos of sho that didnt make it into the official pics :(
