Hello lovelies, this is another belated post from me! (I'm just living at a very different time and space so lets just assume that today is Sho's birthday where I live :P).
MatsuJun has given the theme 'sashi-nomi' for Ohno & Sho in this issue. 'Sashi' means to do something between two people, so in this regard it means a drinking session with just the two of them. Seems they've enjoyed this chance to the fullest and looking at the pictures; it's almost as if they're actually having it in private and not as work.

S: Today's interview is the best! XD
O: MatsuJun, thanks a lot! ♪ XD
S: When it comes to 'sashi-nomi', I usually start by having a toast with beer. The must-have for snacking would be sashimi (sliced raw seafoods) platter. Especially shellfishes; I'm such a sucker for them.
O: How nice... My favourite snack would be, Chanja (spicy marinated cod fish entrails). (Squints eyes) It tastes so good~~
S: I think there's lots of times when I'd continue from beer to shochu (Japanese liquor). Started drinking like that with friends when I graduated from university.
O: I often drink the same kind of liquor the whole time.
S: As for the situation; since I want to chat in relaxed manner, a place with lightly partitioned seating would be ideal. How about you, Satoshi-kun?
O: Being at home would be the best for me. There's times when I'd get sleepy. That's why it's comforting to have my friends come over and can still enjoy themselves without me; then they can go home whenever they like.
S: They need to be understanding, ne xD. Speaking of which, even yesterday I met up with the friend I knew back when I was in college. That friend just had a baby so I gave congratulatory gift and somehow the bachelor me spoke so enthusiastically about parenting; saying things like, "Bring your child to camp! Why don't you create lots of opportunities for the kid to be in touch with nature?" XD. When I have meals with friends, we hardly talk about work, I guess.
O: Same here. Nowadays the people I often meet up are mostly those who love fishing, so we pretty much only have imaginary talks, such as, "I wanna go there next time!
S: You'd drink while fishing too, right?
O: Since you'll catch more when you're properly relaxed (grins). During those times, I drink champagne while eating freshly caught fishes with ponzu sauce (japanese sauce made from soy sauce & citrus juice). ... (suddenly realizes) Hey, didn't I sound dandy?!
S: Quite refined you are! Recently the invitation from the Jrs too has increased. When being approached, I'll give them the schedules when I'm going to be available and make reservations at places which I think they can frequent to thereafter.
O: Most of the times, the Jrs will 'attack' with their barrage of questions, ne. I couldn't answer them well though. They consider various matters very earnestly, I can't help but feel impressed.
S: Surprisingly I don't often get to have 'sashi-nomi' sessions with Arashi members. Once during tour I was having drinks in Aiba-kun's room; that's pretty much it.
O: I did with MatsuJun. In the beginning, there were only the two of us but gradually more people joined and in the end there were so many of them! XD
S: MatsuJun is the type who would talk passionately while drinking. After having beers, he would change to shochu and such. As for Nino, I have the impression that he'll keep drinking beer the whole time.
O: I have this image of Aiba-chan; that somehow he'll be having fun while drinking.
S: Liquor; for me is something that lets me 'switch off'. Just drinking it a little can give me so much relief.
O: Since I often drink while having dinner; it's like my dinner's companion. Makes me glad if there's any.
S: For us to do our magazine interview in this manner; we've really grown up! xD

まるでカメラの存在を忘れているかのよう(笑)!?"Going to the bar with Sho-chan was so enjoyable naa. At that lively place; my spirit soared up. Since it was surprisingly difficult to actually have sashi-nomi session; this is a precious memory!" They were in laid-back and comfortable manner at the eating place since dusk. This was the last work of the day for the two of them, so they were in fully relaxed mode; as if they had forgotten the camera completely?! XD
