This time, the theme 'shaved ice' was suggested by Nino; who was wondering if the two had eaten any this year. It's a perfect theme for the summer and we get really nice laid-back outdoor shoots. They made their own shaved ice using borrowed ice shaver , with their choices of toppings and syrups. So here's what they've talked about between each other while relishing on the refreshing delicacy.

O: Nino; he gave such a good theme ne. This is actually the first shaved ice I have for this year.
S: For me, it's been 4-5 years ago (since I had one), I think~. Once you've grown up, there's hardly any opportunity to eat them, don't you think so? Satoshi-kun, even through shaved ice making you're displaying creativity! You poured on both strawberry and blue hawaii (syrup) together; you added azuki beans and ice cream on top of matcha (powdered green tea) and such. Although you were beside me while making them, it was as if they're completely different things from mine.
O: That (ice shaving) machine's (blade) sharpness was so impressive. It got me really happy so while steadily shaving the ice, I ended up wanting to try out various things *smiles*. Matcha Special was really tasty.
S: Matcha is also my favorite. Because it's the suitable age for me to start preferring bitter taste XD. Do you have any memories related to shaved ice?
O: When I was a kid, I wanted one because I saw it at a friend's home; so a home-use ice shaver was bought for me. But since it's the kind to be used with regular ice cubes; it couldn't shave very well.
S: That's a pity XD. As for me, every year I would go sea-bathing with my family, so eating shaved ice at the beachside clubhouse was something I look forward to. Speaking of shaved ice, there's places to savor them; along with the situation, right?
O: Shaved ice that is eaten at carnivals is also nice.
S: Uh-huh~ These days there's even shaved ice parlors that are so popular that the queues are long.
O: Whoa~ I wonder if they're really all that different (from others).
S: Don't you think they'd be using high quality ingredients? Thinking about it, although shaved ice is such a simple snack, the fact that it's always been much-loved is really amazing ne. I feel that it must have been so profound. Though upon seeing the ice melted, the realization that "Ah, that's right, it's actually just water," makes it rather sad XD.
O: To make it using frozen juices instead of water seems to be a good (alternative), but we almost never heard (anyone doing) it. Is it against the rules or something?
S: Getting scolded by the shaved ice specialist, "That's blasphemy!" XD. I wonder if the other members would eat shaved ice~
O: I think the one who seems to like it the most is Nino. The flavor he choose might be lemon, I think. As for Matsujun, it's matcha. He has the image of not putting any other topping, only preferring matcha. And then he would eat it very calmly XD.
S: Aiba-chan would be 'Kumamon'... not! It's 'Shirokuma' XD. In connection to animals.
O: Sho-chan, I feel that you're well-matched for strawberry (flavor) today. Maybe it's because you have worn lots of red attire.
S: If that's how you put it; then Satoshi-kun, aren't you (well-matched for) blue hawaii? After all, you have that image of 'the sea man'. Well, how shall I put it; 'Blue Hawaii' as a name is such a genius. Despite being a completely connotative word, somehow we're able to simply imagine the flavor XD.
O: Exactly XD. Eating shaved ice after so long, it's addictive~ ♪
S: It's refreshing ne. But we have to be careful not to overeat. Because we've arrived at the age when we should be concerned about colds XD.
