Well, to be honest... I'm not really that apologetic, because why would I say no to yama fics? If it's what you're inclined to do; then go for it! <3
Hmm... regarding the 'Sho-chan' calling; and I actually rummaged through the logs of gmail convos I had with my friends (yeah, we're that obsessed about the name-calling) and I reckon that the change started around 2011?
At first I think we spotted "Sho-chan" by Ohno on magazine interviews, radioshow and even during the Wakuwaku show (when he said his gratitude to Sho was one of the things we had mentioned specifically in the convo logs xD); but we were always like: "Hey, am I reading/hearing this right? Is this typo? Why he never said it on tv?"
Till... if I'm not mistaken in VSA when Sho played against Arashi with NazoDi Team in Dual Curling; which was when I positively sure I first heard Ohno said "Sho-chan" and I think there was no going back from then on xD. At first he sounded like he had to sneak that in and it always felt like it ended too short at the '-chan', but gradually he became more comfortable with it.
But seriously, this has been one of the things that still boggles my mind, and I truly am curious as to why he changed from "Sho-kun" to "Sho-chan"
