Hello again, lovelies~ I've been on holiday and while I was being lazy as usual, right now it's the time of the month when my yama-craving multiplied. So here I am once again. *Bows* Sorry for being such a 'do-as-she-pleases' kind of mod.

This is from a recent issue of TV LIFE and I thought that it would be interesting to read on them revealing some stuffs that some of us might not have known before. Please enjoy the talk as much as I did~

ＴＬ　：　ゲストは、サッカー日本代表の内田篤人選手でした。
大野：　内田選手の印象は、いい意味で普通の人。何かすごい自然体だよね。
櫻井：　今回は好きな芸能人の話とか、プライベート話もいろいろ聞けて楽しかった。
ＴＬ　：　ちなみに2人には、憧れの芸能人はいますか？
櫻井：　僕はキャメロン・ディアス。番組で会えたときはそれはもううれしかったですね～。最近も番宣で朝情報番組に出たとき、キャメロンから「ハーイ、翔！」みたいなメッセージをもらって。
大野：　えっ、そうなの？
櫻井：　うん。あれはすごくうれしかった！キャメロンのファンになったのは高校生のときかな。「メリーに首ったけ」をみたのがきっかけで。
大野：　あ～、あったねぇ。
櫻井：　ホント、最高ですよ。
大野：　オレは鶴田真由さん。多分、中２ぐらいから好きだった気がする。当時、鶴田さんが出演されていたドラマとかを見てファンになったんだよね。
ＴＬ　：　最近プライベートで何かスポーツをやったりは？
櫻井：　僕はないかな～。今はトレーニングぐらいしかやってないかも。
大野：　基本オレも、スポーツとかやらないからね。
櫻井：　でも、釣りはスポーツみたいなもんでしょ。
大野：　ある意味スポーツかも（笑）。ずっと仕掛けを投げたりして、全然じっとしてないし。あと、船の上は揺れるから、身体でバランス取らなきゃいけないっていうね。
ＴＬ　：　2人でやってみたいスポーツはありますか？
櫻井：　そうだな～。大野さんとだったら．．．テニスとか。
大野：　何でテニスなの？
櫻井：　いや何か、2人でやるスポーツといえば．．．って考えると。バドミントンはさぁ、あなたが元バドミントン部だから、2人ともやったことがないテニスがいいかなって。
大野：　テニスならラリーがいい。勝負するんじゃなくて、ただラリーを続けるだけ。
ＴＬ　：　今後、ゲストで来てもらいたいスポーツ選手は？
櫻井：　ペレ！サッカーの神様ですからねぇ。
大野：　もし来てくれたら何を教わるの？
櫻井：　そりゃあ、サンバの踊り方じゃないですか（笑）。
大野：　フフフ．．．（笑）。
櫻井：　ただただペレに会いたいだけだから、お会いできればそれでもう十分です。サッカーを教わりたいんなんて、そんなおこがましいことは思ってません！
大野：　オレもね、テレビでサッカー見るのが好きなんだよね。たまに海外リーグとか見てるよ。
櫻井：　へえ～そうなんだ！
大野：　選手の名前とかチーム名は全然分からないけど。サッカーの試合は、なぜかず～っとみてられる（笑）。

TL: You had Atsuto Uchida; the Japanese representative soccer player as the guest.
O: The impression I have of player Uchida is that he's a very ordinary person; I mean this in a good way. Somehow he has amazingly open attitude. 
S: This time, we were able to listen to various things such as talks on favorite celebrities or private stories; it was so much fun.
TL: By the way, is there any celebrity that you two admire?
S: For me, it's Cameron Diaz. I was already so glad that I get to meet her during a TV show ne. Even recently while I was on a morning news program to do promotions, I received a message from Cameron; which she said something like "Hi Sho~!"
O: Eh, really?
S: Uh huh. That made me so happy! I think I became Cameron's fan when I was in senior high school. It was from when I watched "There's Something About Mary."
O: Ah, that's right~
S: Really, it was the best.
O: As for me, it's Mayu Tsuruta-san. If I'm not mistaken I started liking her since I was in 2nd year of junior high school. At the time I watched her drama or something like that and became her fan, I guess.
TL: Have you been playing any sports recently during private time?
S: I don't think I have. Right now it's pretty much body training only.
O: Basically even I don't play sports or such ne.
S: However, don't you think fishing is something like a sport too?
O: Perhaps it's a sport, in a sense xD. Having to cast away fishing bait throughout, and one can't stay still at all the whole time. Then, since it's shaky on the boat, one must maintain the balance with their body ne.
TL: Is there any sports that you'd like to try out with the two of you?
S: Let's see~ If it's with Ohno-san... Tennis or something like that.
O: Why tennis?
S: Ah well, I was thinking... if we're playing sports for two. You see, if it was badminton; you used to be in the badminton club so I thought it would be nice to play something we haven't done before.
O: If it's tennis, then it's better to do relays. Not a match, just simply continuously playing in relays.
TL: Next time, which athlete would you like to have as the guest?
S: Pelé! Because he's the God of Soccer ne...
O: If he does come over, what would he teach?
S: Well, wouldn't it be on how to dance samba? xD
O: Hehehe...
S: I just simply want to meet him, so I'm totally satisfied if that could happen. Wanting him to teach soccer; such absurd thought never crossed my mind!
O: Even I too love to watch soccer on TV. Once in a while I would watch the foreign league, you see.
S: Ah, is that so!
O: Although I have no idea about the player's or the team's name. For some reason, I could keep watching soccer match the whole time xD.


As an added bonus to the main talk; it's the usual segment where a reader's question gets chosen to be answered. I'm pleased as to how 'relevant' it is *winks* xD

以前2人で「俺たちのソング」という曲を作っていましたが、今2人でやってみたいことはありますか？
大野：　オイラがラップで、翔ちゃんがメロディーのとこを歌う。曲は「Ａ・ＲＡ・ＳＨＩ」で。
櫻井：　いつもの逆ってことね。
大野：　確か「Ａ・ＲＡ・ＳＨＩ」は、レコーディングのとき、両方録音したんだよね。
櫻井：　やった、やった（笑）。ラップもメロディーラインも、どっちも録音した。
大野：　その音源残ってたら、聴いてみたいね。

Previously, the two of you had written the song "Oretachi no Song" together; is there anything that you'd like to do together now?
O: I rap while Sho-chan sings the melody part. For "A.RA.SHI".
S: It's the opposite of the usual ne.
O: If I remember it correctly, during the recording for "A.RA.SHI"; we recorded both parts, right.
S: We did, we did xD. The rap and melody parts; we did record both.
O: If the recording is still around, would love to take a listen to it, ne.

What a nice coincidence! A dear friend told me about the content, so I was impatiently waiting for the proper scans to come out so I can read it properly.

Well, they actually did a photoshoot for Myojo in 2005; the two of them playing tennis together. So it's not like they NEVER played it 'together'. Unless Sho was truly being detailed and that he meant they both never played it together IN PRIVATE? xD (this is one of the reasons why I would sometimes unconsciously try to read between the lines, because they might mean something else rather than being straight-forward in their answers).

I also feel that any interests that Ohno invested in soccer is most probably due to Sho's influence xD *hi5s* I remembered reading how they both watched the World Cup 2010 match together after they were done with concert's meeting. :D

It would be nice if somehow they can perform Oretachi no Song, and that they'd 'revamp' the song to make it more currently relevant? That would mean 'discussions' (be it direct face-to-face ones or even e-mail exchanges; either way would be really sweet)

Ohno's suggestion made me feel that he probably likes Sho's singing voice, ne.

i haven't watched AniShi with Atsuto Uchida >< so reading his name in this translation and read Ohno's comment about him make me more curious to watch the show ><
it's lovely to see that Ohno wants to play tennis with Sho in relays, not in a match. so they will enjoy the game more, not caring about score. lol XD
and agreed! let's hope we can see Oretachi no Song in Arafes >< then make another couple song later <333

I've already started work today, but my mind is already on the to-be-aired Bet De Arashi xD

Well, it was a funny episode, I should say; Uchida was so laidback and then they started this setting of how Ohno is crushing on Uchida because of the way he was acting. with Ohno playing along with it.

Yeah, I thought it was sweet that Ohno suggested that they do relays instead of a match. That also means longer playing time? xD

I wonder if they're surprised at the reception of Oretachi no Song, I mean... even though I'm sure it's something special for the two of them, but to have ppl demanding and relating to it 7 years after it was performed in venues of smaller scales compared to now, i'm sure they must have been quite puzzled abt it. <3

Oh yes, I saw it too; when Cameron goes "Hi Sho~" at him in the VTR. Even idols can be such a cute and spazzy fanboy ne.

*hi5s* I also thought that Ohno was quite passive in the main talk; so to have him 'conquering' the reader's Q&A segment ws quite amusing to me.

*hi5s* Yeah, I also reckon that somehow Ohno's interest in watching soccer match cd have been influenced by Sho. I mean, he simply watches w/o a clear idea of the player's names or what's the team.

If they cd have collaborated again, that wd be heavenly; never stop hoping~

btw, did you notice that the actress whose name was mentioned by Ohno as his fave celeb (Mayu Tsuruta) is the heroine in Satorare? I thought you might appreciate it too <3
