2009.3.16: MAGAZINE (ONLY STAR) - PART 2: "A PAIR OF YAMA & A MARUYAMA"
In Uta no Oniisan, Sho made a guest appearance in Episode 7 (aired on 6th March 2009) which also went hand in hand with his movie 'Yatterman' promotion. For this very occasion, the magazine had initially arranged an interview with Ohno and Sho only. But upon realizing how Maruyama (Kanjani8) was observing them and appearing quite lonesome; Ohno invited him to join along. So somehow Maruyama became the interviewer?
O: But that one didn't have us interacting with each other, see.
S: That's right. Because the scene only involved Ninomiya with Satoshi-kun without me, so if we consider the one with interactions between us would be since "Yoiko no Mikata", I guess?
M: (While nodding with a serious expression) I think it is "Yoiko"~
S: Hahaha. Uhuh, that's what I think.
O: 2003?
M: Eh, that far back?
S: If not mistaken... XD
M: I'd like to know your thoughts about appearing together in this!
S: Who should start first?
M: Shall I be the one then? Ah, no, that's not right.... Well, lets start from Sho-san; if you please.
S: Just when I thought it's only with Satoshi-kun, turns out that Maruyama-kun is also around, so I felt a bit disappointed. Just kidding, it was fun.
M: What's up with that, you're playing it safe~
S: So you prefer me saying something interesting? Well, since it's the first time I'm co-starring with Maru, ne. Though I think it's gonna be the first and the last time.
M: WHOA WHOA there! Wouldn't you be saying, "On this occasion..." or something like that?
S: Sorry, sorry xD. Onii-san's costumes, the neon color was so strong that it hits so hard in the eye ne. Although I thought that I'm gonna feel like an outsider at the filming location, but since both of you were with me, I felt right at home.
M: It's a proper answer, it's just too proper!
S: You'll complain no matter what I say, right?
M: Of course! (wide grin)
O & S: HAHAHA
M: How about Ohno-san?
O: Coz it was the opposite previously.
M: What was the opposite, may I ask?
O: (To Maruyama) You're so annoying!
S: It was you who invited Maru to join in XD. Please treat him properly.
M: Such retort makes me so happy though!
O: What I meant to say was, since I used to be the one who would always go to member's drama filming sets, to have (another member) come to mine is something new.
M: Have you been watching (this drama)?
S: Yes I have.
M: Which episode is your favorite?
S: Of course the first episode had this "It's about to begin" feel to it, so that was good.
M: It's amazing, really. No matter what the question, it will be answered so properly ne~ Any scene which left a deep impression on you?
S: (Ohno-san as) The Acorn was dark beyond expectation.
M: What would you say in regards to that?
O: True, I was dark.
S: HAHAHA (roaring in laughter). In between breaks during Arashi group works Ohno-san would sing (children songs such as) 'Omocha no Chachacha' [Toy's Cha-cha Dance] and 'Donguri KoroKoro' [Rolling Acorns]; but I was able to sing those much more perfectly.
M: Ohno-san isn't familiar (with these songs) ne.
O: Sho-kun's really amazing, you know. He could sing everything.
S: That's why perhaps it was better if I had been the one casted to play this part.
M: If that had been the case; personally I would be glad. Sho-san really oozes with the feel of seniority. But Ohno-san...
O: If that's the case, just say so from beginning! It's almost nearing to the final episode, you do realize that, don't you?
M: However, since I'm already an adult; I thought I just have to accept it xD
S: HAHAHA
M: If you compare with how he is with Arashi; what do you think of Ohno-san's at this set?
S: On the contrary, I thought it's amazing since there's absolutely no difference. Even when there's kids around, he's not disturbed by them; how should I put it... even when we're working as five he still retains his composure. Always in the state of calm.
M: So he's always the same ne... somehow, I want to apologize for intruding!
O & S: HAHAHA
櫻井：智くんとの共演は『山田太郎ものがたり』（TBS系）以来ですね。S: This is my first time co-starring with Satoshi-kun since "Yamada Tarou Monogatari" ne.
大野：あれは絡んではないけどね。
櫻井：そうそう。二宮と智くんのシーンだけで僕はなかったから、絡みは『よい子の味方』（日テレビ系）以来かな？
丸山：（マジメな顔でうなずきながら）『よい子～』だと思いますよ。
櫻井：ハハハ（笑）。うん、だと思う。
大野：03年？
丸山：え、そんなに経ちます？
櫻井：かな．．．．．．（笑）
丸山：共演の感想を聞きたいですね！
櫻井：どっちから言う？
丸山：僕からいっときますか？あ、違う．．．．．．じゃ翔さんからお願いします。
櫻井：智くんだけかと思ってたら丸山くんもいたんで、ちょっと残念な気もします（笑）。ウソ、楽しいです。
丸山：なんですか、その無難な感じ！
櫻井：面白いこと言った方がいい？まあ、マルと共演するのは初めてだからね。たぶん最初で最後だと思うけど。
丸山：コラコラッ！これを機に、とかあるでしょう？
櫻井：スマンスマン（笑）。お兄さんの衣装は、蛍光色が強くて目にガツンときましたね。でも、現場でアウェイ気味になるかなと思ってたんですけど、ふたりもいてくれたのでホームでした。
丸山：キレイ！キレイすぎるなぁ。
櫻井：何言ったて文句言うんだろ？
丸山：（満面の笑みで）もちろん！
大野・櫻井：ハハハ（笑）。
丸山：大野さんはどうですか？
大野：前回と逆だからね。
丸山：何が逆なんですか？
大野：（丸山に）うざったいんだよ！
櫻井：マルを呼び込んだのはあなただから（笑）。処理してくださいよ。
丸山：そういうツッコミすっごい嬉しいです！
大野：つまり、僕はいつもメンバーのドラマの現場に行ってた側だったから、来てくれるっていうのは新鮮ですね。
丸山：ご覧になってくれてました？
櫻井：そうですね。
丸山：何話が好きでした？
櫻井：やっぱり1話が〝いよいよ始まったな〝って感じでよかったです。
丸山：スゴイわ。何聞いてもキレイに返しますねぇ。印象的なシーンは？
櫻井：ドングリ（の大野）が思いほか黒かったってところ。
丸山：それについてはどうですか？
大野：確かに黒かった。
櫻井：ハハハ（爆笑）。嵐の仕事の合間に、大野さんが『おもっちゃのチャチャチャ』や『どんぐりころころ』を歌ってて、僕の方が完璧に歌えたんですよ。
丸山：大野さん知らないんですよね。
大野：翔くんすごいの、全部歌えるの。
櫻井：だからオレがこの役やったほうがよかったんじゃないかなって。
丸山：その方が僕的にも嬉しかったですね。翔さんは〝先輩″って感じがすごいするんですよ。でも大野さんは．．．．．．。
大野：だったら最初から言えよ！もうすぐ最後回だぞ。
丸山：でもそこはオレも大人ですから、受け入れようかなと（笑）。
櫻井：ハハハ（笑）。
丸山：嵐のときと比べて、この現場の大野さんはどうですか？
櫻井：逆にまったく変わらないからそれがすごいと思う。子どもたちがいても動じないし、5人の仕事のときもビクともしないというか。常に平常心。
丸山：いつも一緒なんですね。．．．．．．なんか、お邪魔してすいませんでした！
大野・櫻井：ハハハ（笑）。

Maru, what are you doing? it was so fun to read this.
Without doubts Ohno was dark, the acorn and him were made to eachother.
I love "omocha no chachacha" i even recorded it from the show xD
Back to the topic, this was their real~long(minutes) collaboration and it was so amazing (actually i thought it was the best from the drama xD).
I wonder when are we gonna see something like this or two members working in a drama together again...
So, Maru in the middle of the Yama picture~emails must be coming from here.

Oh gosh, Ohno as The Acorn xD I always LOL when I see him in that image.
Yeah, this was a wonderful and a perfect collab for yama; the two of them getting to interact on-screen while one of them is playing as himself. I always found myself feeling rather bashful at that very moment when their eyes met for the first time in that particular scene. That's just real chemistry, I say! xD
I have always been hoping that the two of them get to properly collab again one day <3 It would be awesome when that happens.
One can see how comfortable Sho is with Maru; the way he's teasing his kouhai the whole time; I also think that this was probably why Ohno had been so open with sharing Maru's e-mail with Sho.

If I'm not mistaken, that particular episode had the highest rating; so I guess a lot of people also consider it their fave ep <3
I think Sho was teasing Maru most of the time; but perhaps it was 'slightly' true that he wd prefer just to have Satoshi around. Just a bit. xD
I think Sho does find Maru amusing in person and his reactions are so cute and funny; anyone wd have loved to tease this guy :D Ohno always had that sort of doS nature with the way he treats Maru, but it's nice to see them so comfortable with each other to allow such interactions.

Ohno was so tanned during his period. I remember there were staff complaints because they had problems finding a foundation dark enough for him in the makeup department. And it's super cute that Ohno would practice the children's songs and Sho knew them better. I love it.

This is probably one of the least raved about among all Ohno's dramas; but I do know it had a considerable number of following, I remembered that the Japanese fandom made some sort of fanvid matsuri on yt for that drama :D. My twin still rewatches it nowadays. Great to know that u're a fan of it too.
Oh god, his tan ws so amusing; I thought that perhaps it served him well when he was wearing the acorn costume xD. I had these very vivid images in my mind of him in shukudai-kun ard that time and i have to say... it's very haunting *the image of literally dark!Ohno observing eating!Sho from the latter's back pops in mind*
I wonder if Sho was 'coaching' the man on how to sing all those songs? <3

*Trying to imagine Sho being the narcissistic Prince with over-the-top attire*
LOL. I think it's to save the time; I can't imagine how many retakes they have to make, just because Ohno was LOLing his heart out at Sho's antiques. (Ohno actually made a flub when Sho did his cameo in the drama; even though it was the part that was actually rehearsed among all the adlibs. Accidents happen, I guess xD)
I wish we could have more interactions between these 2 again <3
