Despite whatever I might feel when I read stuffs, when I can't find the words to express, this OCD part of me just resists leaving simple comments. Like you, I also would appreciate it if the original transcription is included in translations; because it's useful for Japanese learners and also because many things can be lost in translations so it's nice to provide ways for some readers who has certain degrees in Japanese reading comprehension to grasp the actual nuance and context that couldn't be fully conveyed in English. And yes, with audios, transcriptions make it easier to know what they're actually saying. Seriously I respect anyone who does transcripting for full radioshows on regular basis because even for snippets like this, even simply verifying transcriptions can take me an hour or two.
