2006.08.26: Radioshow (SHO BEAT) - "NOW, LETS TALK ABOUT LOVE"
Right now, I'm sure many of us are talking about ARAFES 2013 songs voting that's been going on. So I thought it'll be interesting to touch on an old song that probably connects Ohno and Sho together in a very subtle way.
At least, I'd like to think so, based on what Sho had said in SHO BEAT after he played this particular song; which he chose to play for a listener who requested a song that could make one feel calm and relaxed being around one's crush.
Well, this tune you see, I have repeatedly said that; although it's really something to say this about our own song, but I really think it's a good one.
That is to say, surprisingly, what made me feel that my opinion (in regards to this song) was shared by someone in the group; among all of Arashi's songs, I had made my own decision to perform this song for my solo concert, without even discussing about it in meetings or such.
Then, about 2 weeks later, when I went to Ohno-kun's; our Leader, Ohno-kun's solo concert, this time it was him who was singing this song during encore.
Well, that was why; to have another member liking or perhaps thinking that this old tune is really good, means that we have quite the same thoughts and that made me happy, ne.
Alright, this tune was from our 2nd album, please do give it a listen.

"えぇ、嵐アルバム「HERE WE GO！」に入っております「いま愛を語ろう」っていう楽曲なんだけども。"This is a tune that was included in Arashi's album [HERE WE GO!] titled 'Ima Ai wo Katarou'.
これねー、何度も自分らの楽曲で言うのもなんなんだけど、いい曲なんですよ。
ていうのは、僕、意外にメンバーの中で、そこらへんの考えっていうのは近いとんだなと思ったのが、僕が全然打ち合わせをしないままソロコンサートで、話は聞かないままソロコンサートで、僕は「いま愛を語ろう」という楽曲を嵐の中から選んで自分でやったんです。
で、約２週間後ぐらい、大野君、うちのリーダーの大野君のソロコンサート見に行ったら、今度大野君がこの楽曲アンコールでやってたの。
ま、だから、メンバーの中で気に入ってる曲ていうか、あの昔の曲すごくいいなーと思ってる楽曲ていうのは、結構同じだったりするんだなーっていうのが嬉しかったりもしたんですねー。

I remembered my twin translating this song back when my Japanese comprehension was non-existent; when I read the translation, I really thought it's a wonderfully realistic love song and just fell in love even more with it.
At first listen, it caught my attention with slow rap Sho was doing; but when I saw fancams of Ohno's solo concert, listening to him singing in a different, more ballad-y rendition... seriously I thought at the time, "Gosh, they should totally do a duet together for this song one day!".
Sadly this is such an underrated song, I don't think this song was ever inserted in any official concert DVD performance, so I hope this time we can actually get to see it for ARAFES 2013.
Yes haha, Oretachi no Song; I wonder what they thought of seeing that song being voted, they actually performed it again during ARASHIC, involving all members (although I think it's only them dancing and singing the chorus). So I'm curious to see if the votes could get those two to actually perform this together on stage this time. If they do, would they still use the same phrases or change it to accomodate recent happenings? <3

I swear i'm voting for oretachi no song (everyday) and ima ai wo katarou too... i love the songs that are dominated by Sho's rap and in this case with the slow tempo melody, it just drives me crazy <3
I want all of those underrated songs in this year ARAFES :D

Thanks for your support for the 'legend song', it would be nice to see it and other rare songs being performed. As for me, in the end; whatever results that come up, I think I'm gonna enjoy this ARAFES to the fullest <3

I believe there's some sort of 'movement' to get all yamapair fans to vote for "Oretachi no Song" this time. I'm looking forward to see how it will turn up to be in the end :D. At least they'd know it's high in demand, yeah? Lets try our best!
The old radioshow recordings, it's actually all over the place(if they're still available, that is) so they're not from a single source. But lemme check for you when i get home, I'll pm you what I found so far, okay? :D
I wasn't much of a radioshow recordings collector before. Only now that I had to find sources for this comm, I did sort of regret it, having to search for them when there's such limited resources compared to when they were recently aired. Luckily my twin used to listen to the boys' radioshows before and still keep some of the mp3s, so that helped me a lot.
