Now, I think it's realistic to say that Ohno isn't well-known to give birthday presents promptly (as another member has already testified to that here). So it came as a wonderful surprise when I read this; his motivation was as plain as day xD. It makes me happy too because it shows that it isn't one-sided. Either that or Sho figured it's the best way to get presents from Ohno as quick as possible :P.

I asked him what he wanted and since he answered fishing gears; I gave him a pair of warm long boots and a pair of gloves that has 3-fingers (thumb, index finger and middle finger) opening."
