sakura_daikonHello lovelies, this time I'm bringing up something quite recent; thanks to my angels who pointed out the contents. And sent me flying to find the full scans and vowing to do this as soon as I get home, so here I am :D.
This time, both Ohno and Sho appeared in the same magazine for individual interviews related to their current promotions; Ohno for his upcoming SP drama for 24 HR TV and Sho for his NazoD movie. What was interesting that there's this tiny corner for each of their individual interviews; where they were asked questions related to each other, which the themes revolves around what they're promoting.
First, this is taken from Ohno's interview:
What would you do for/with Sakurai-san?
~Let's say you're Kouta who loves to cook. What sort of dish would you make for Sakurai-san?~
Well, it's Chinese style fried rice. With strong flavour; if I could, I would make one with thick sauce (poured on top of the fried rice). Before, I used to cook (this) often, and I think perhaps Sho-chan would like it.
~If you could spend 24 hours with Sakurai-san?~
I want to go to the dressing room in Aoyama Theater. Previously when we did musical play together, we were always in the same dressing room, so I'd like to re-experience that mood one more time XD. Basically we ate foods like udon and stuffs (at the time). I would also like to eat those while reminiscing about the old times. ... But I think (to do this for) 24 hours is sort of pushing it. XD
And this is the question answered by Sho:

Must I serve (Ohno) no matter what XD? What is it that I would want to do for him... It's hard to be a butler to members, ne. For example, for "Kazoku Game' (Fuji TV drama), to my co-stars such as Kamiki Ryuunosuke-kun or Uragami Seishuu-kun; I would like to share with them the knowledge and experiences that I have. If it's the other way around; if Leader was my butler instead? That man won't do a thing, I guess. HAHAHA. Ah, recently Leader has been eating burrito quite often, so shall I serve him burrito for dinner then?

青山劇場の楽屋に行く。昔そこでミュージカルを一緒にやってたときにいつも同じ楽屋だったから、その気分をもう一回味わうっていう（笑）。大抵、一緒にうどんか何かを食べてたんだよね。それもまた一緒に食べつつ、思い出話しをするの。 ...でも24時間はキツイな（笑）

どうしても仕えなきゃダメですか（笑）？何してあげたいかなあ...。メンバーの執事は難しいですね。例えば「家族ゲーム」（フジテレビ系）で共演していた神木隆之介くんや浦上晟周くんになら、自分の持ってる知識や経験を教えてあげたいなぁと思いますけど。 逆にリーダーが僕の執事だったら？あの人は何もしないでしょう。ハハハ。あ、リーダーは最近ブリトーをよく食べてるから、ディナーにブリトーを出しましょうか。

Date: 2013-07-11 02:10 am (UTC)I would say thanks to their overlapping promotions that made it convenient for them to do this sort of indirect relation; of course, it might have been that there's yama-shipper among the staffs too. The same faded white bench was used as the prop for both of their photoshoot (if only they took it at similar angle, I would have PSed them together xD)
Sho's train of thoughts while he was answering the butler question was mostly irrelevant xD (i mean, gosh... must u include Kazoku Game, Sho? because u're not the butler in there but a home tutor, ne?). Ohno as Sho's butler... the 'nothingness' might be the best thing Ohno could do for the ever-so-busy Sho.

Haha, Ohno as Sho's butler. I wonder how that goes... well, I guess Ohno can serve him 'ankake-chahan' for a lifetime?

Date: 2013-07-11 04:02 am (UTC)Well, they might have been sharing dressing rooms for other different occasions; but for west side story they shared dressing room throughout the times they were doing the musical which was probably months, due to the director's order for character building. It might have probably been the longest duration of time when they had to share dressing room (just the two of them).
I feel that Ohno on his own; isn't really someone I would consider as a food-lover, based on his preferences and the fact he can be rather picky about the foods he wd indulge on in private. But put Sho into equation, Ohno suddenly changed into a foodie xD. Pretty much because they're rather smug about sharing the same taste in foods. And it's probably more enjoyable to eat things when you have someone with you share that experience with, ne?
I have been translating old stuffs for a while now, but somehow reading Ohno being such a sap just got me into srsly wanting to drop everything else and do this xD.

Date: 2013-07-11 08:20 am (UTC)I find it kind of funny that while Ohno seems so open about wanting to spend time with Sho (even throwing 'Sho-chan' all over the place), citing that period when they've probably spent the most time together, Sho is talking about imparting his aged wisdom to the younger generation, sounding pretty much like an uptight old man. xDDD
Ah, but then maybe what he wanted to do for 'his Ohno' is something he cannot say in public? <3

Date: 2013-07-11 12:57 pm (UTC)It's really wonderful that after all these years Ohno still doesn't get sick talking about west side story (along with Tenjin Festival); he's such a sap, well I believe they both are. I can't help going AWWW at it all. Ankake Chahan has always been Ohno's speciality, imo; the way he was saying it made me feel like previously he used to cook it for Sho often; so 'Sho-chan' would like it...
And I srsly went WHUT? at the Kazoku Game reference. I mean, we both LOVE the drama along with those adorable kids(ok, Kamiki isn't really a kid, but I'd like to be a 'hidden-pedo' in this matter), but Sho's promoting NazoD here and was asked to imagine how wd it be like to be a butler to Ohno; NOT a home tutor, for God's sake~ *cries*
But that revelation abt burrito; I totally didn't know! I believe this is one of the ways Sho is trolling on us; by putting up a prude front; then drop bombs like this. And I agree with you that he probably didn't dare to reveal too much what ws on his mind xD
